Copycat McDonald’s Hash Brown
Ingredients
- 2 large russet potatoes
- 1 tbsp flour
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
- oil for frying
Instructions
1. Prep potatoes
Peel and grate potatoes.
Rinse and squeeze out excess moisture.
2. Mix
Combine potatoes with flour, salt, and pepper.
3. Shape
Form into oval patties.
4. Fry
Heat oil to 350°F (175°C).
Fry 3–4 minutes per side until golden.
5. Drain
Place on paper towel.
Tips
- Remove as much moisture as possible for crispiness
- Don’t overcrowd pan
- Slightly flatten for even cooking
