Copycat Recipe: Shamrock Shake

Ingredients

  • 2 cups vanilla ice cream
  • ¾ cup milk
  • ¼ tsp mint extract
  • 2–3 drops green food colouring
  • whipped cream (optional)

Instructions

1. Blend

Blend ice cream and milk until smooth.

2. Add flavour

Add mint extract and food colouring. Blend briefly.

3. Adjust

Taste and adjust mint (go light — it’s strong).

4. Serve

Pour into glass and top with whipped cream if desired.

Tips

  • Start with very little mint extract — it’s powerful
  • Keep shake thick by not overblending
  • Use full-fat ice cream for best texture
  • Chill glass beforehand for better consistency
