Starbucks Review: Iced Banana Bread Matcha

This one is easily one of the more interesting combinations, and it ends up being better than it sounds.

Visually, it’s not the most aesthetic drink. It leans more toward that muted green with a creamy tone.

The first sip is banana-forward. You get that sweet, slightly baked banana flavour right away.

The matcha is there, but it’s softened a lot. It doesn’t have that strong earthy hit.

The “banana bread” aspect comes more from the sweetness and that warm, slightly spiced feel rather than actual spice.

The balance is what makes this work. The banana smooths out the matcha and makes it much easier to drink.

Texture is thick and creamy, slightly heavier than a normal iced matcha.

It feels more like a treat than a regular drink.

This is one of those drinks that shouldn’t work as well as it does, but it actually does.

Final Verdict:

Smooth, banana-forward, and surprisingly good. A unique mix that ends up working.
