Crumbl Weekly Lineup Review (Sept 29-Oct 5)
This week’s Crumbl lineup was a mixed bag — a couple of big wins, a couple of letdowns, and a few that landed squarely in the “good but not life-changing” zone. Here’s how they stacked up for me:
Turtle Cookie
Visually, this one had potential: glossy caramel with a good amount of pecans. But when it came to flavor, it fell flat. The cookie itself dominated, and even the caramel didn’t pack the punch it should’ve. The pecans gave a decent crunch, but overall this was bland and kind of boring. Not worth it for me, even though it should’ve been a standout.
Triple Berry Shortcake
This one looked like a treat from the start — fresh, fun, and topped with plenty of berries and cream. It even overflowed a little past the box, which just made it feel more indulgent. Flavor-wise, it was simple but really satisfying: fresh fruit that wasn’t fake or frozen, balanced with a soft, light cake and cream that lifted it all. Definitely one of the better ones this week, and one I’d gladly get again.
Pumpkin Pie Cookie
As a pumpkin pie lover, this was the one I was most excited for, and it delivered. It looked exactly like a mini pumpkin pie, complete with a swirl of whipped cream. The flavor was strong and spiced just right, with a texture that nailed that crumbly pie-crust feel. The topping didn’t add much, but the cookie itself? Solid. Any pumpkin pie fan will love this one.
Molten Lava Cookie
This one was a letdown for me. It promised that gooey, indulgent center, but what I got was mostly a bitter dark chocolate hit that left an aftertaste. The texture was manageable and not too messy, but overall, it felt flat. If you’re a dark chocolate lover, you might enjoy it. Personally, I wouldn’t go back for it.
Confetti Cake Cookie
Pastel pink, soft, chewy, and loaded with sprinkles — this one leaned more toward “cute” than “memorable.” Flavor-wise, it was basic: vanilla and sweet. Nothing bad about it, but nothing exciting either. It felt more naturally balanced than some of Crumbl’s other plain vanilla cookies, but it’s still one I’d probably skip next time unless I was ordering for kids.
Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookie
This was the “big, fun” cookie of the week, with a swirl of frosting and a cookie on top. But once I took a bite, it was clear: this was peanut butter, through and through. The chocolate base disappeared completely under the richness of the peanut butter. It was soft, chewy, and dense, but a little overwhelming. If you live for peanut butter, you’ll probably love it. For me, one bite was plenty.
Final Takeaway
This week had some highs — the Pumpkin Pie and Triple Berry Shortcake cookies were definite wins and worth going back for. On the other hand, the Turtle and Molten Lava felt like missed opportunities, and the Confetti and Chocolate Peanut Butter sat somewhere in the middle. A lineup that looks exciting on paper, but in reality, only about half really hit the mark.
