Crumbl Review: Sugar Cookie ft. Mother’s Circus Animal
This one is built around nostalgia, and you can tell right away that it’s meant to be more fun than complex.
Visually, it stands out immediately. Bright colours, frosting, and pieces of the circus animal cookies on top make it one of the more eye-catching options.
The first bite is soft and smooth.
The sugar cookie base is simple — lightly sweet, slightly buttery, and very consistent. It’s not trying to be anything more than a classic base.
The frosting adds most of the flavour. It’s sweet, creamy, and slightly artificial in that familiar “frosted cookie” way.
The circus animal cookie pieces are what change the texture.
They add:
- a bit of crunch
- extra sweetness
- that recognizable cookie flavour
Without them, this would be very flat.
The overall profile is:
👉 sweet → sweeter → consistent
There’s not much contrast, and the sweetness builds as you go.
Texture:
- soft base
- smooth frosting
- crunchy topping pieces
It’s easy to eat at first, but can become a bit much over time.
This is more about the experience than flavour depth.
Final Verdict:
Fun, nostalgic, and very sweet. Good texture from toppings, but overall quite one-dimensional.
