Copycat Recipe: Starbucks Strawberry Matcha Frappuccino

Ingredients (2 servings)

  • 1 cup milk (dairy or oat for creaminess)
  • 1 tbsp matcha powder (sifted for smoothness)
  • 2 tbsp sugar (or honey)
  • 1 cup ice
  • ½ cup vanilla ice cream (to mimic the frappé base)
  • ¼ cup strawberry purée (fresh or store-bought)
  • Whipped cream (optional, for topping)

Instructions

  1. Make the matcha base: Whisk matcha with 2 tbsp hot water until smooth. Let cool.
  2. Blend: Add milk, sugar, ice, vanilla ice cream, and prepared matcha into a blender. Blend until thick and smooth.
  3. Assemble: Drizzle strawberry purée around the sides of each glass, then pour in the frappuccino. Top with whipped cream if you like.
  4. Swirl & sip: Stir gently so you get strawberry + matcha in every sip.
