Review: Crumbl Milk Chocolate Chip Cookie

Crumbl’s Milk Chocolate Chip might be their most classic cookie, but it doesn’t feel phoned in. The first bite hits with a crisp bottom that quickly gives way to a soft, light interior. Instead of small chips, it’s packed with big chunks of smooth milk chocolate, which makes every bite feel rich without being over-the-top.

The chocolate is where this cookie shines—you can tell it’s quality. It’s creamy, smooth, and flavorful, not the cheap-tasting chocolate that some places lean on. The cookie base holds its own too: you get just enough vanilla to round it out, but it never tastes like “vanilla with chocolate added.” It’s a balanced mix that feels intentional.

Texture-wise, it’s spot on—soft and chewy in the middle, with no dryness at all. It’s the kind of cookie you could easily eat in full size without hesitation. Unlike some of the heavier Crumbl options, this one feels indulgent but still approachable.

Bottom Line:

The Milk Chocolate Chip is a classic done right. With smooth chocolate chunks, a chewy texture, and a base that tastes as good as it smells, it’s the kind of cookie you could eat any day of the week and never get tired of.

Next week, I’ll be sharing my exclusive copycat recipe for this cookie — soft, chewy, and loaded with real milk chocolate chunks (not chips) so it bakes up just like the original. Subscribe so you don’t miss it.
