Copycat Recipe : Dark Dream Cookie

This cookie is unapologetically dark chocolate. Dense, rich, and a little bitter, it’s designed for true chocolate lovers.

Ingredients:

1 cup unsalted butter, softened 1 ½ cups dark brown sugar 2 large eggs 2 tsp vanilla extract 1 cup Dutch-process cocoa powder 2 cups all-purpose flour 1 tsp baking soda ½ tsp salt 1 cup dark chocolate chunks

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment. Cream butter and brown sugar until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla. Sift in cocoa, flour, baking soda, and salt. Mix until just combined. Fold in dark chocolate chunks. Scoop large balls of dough, flatten slightly, and bake 10–12 minutes. Let set on the tray — they firm up but keep their gooey centers.

Tip: Use high-quality Dutch cocoa — it keeps the bitterness smooth, not harsh.
