Review: Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Frappuccino

If you’re expecting pumpkin pie in a cup, this isn’t it. The Pumpkin Spice Frappuccino leans much more toward spiced coffee than anything pumpkin-heavy, which actually makes it a surprisingly good morning option if you want to feel seasonal without overloading on sugar.

The pumpkin itself is faint — almost a background note — while the blend of spices carries the drink. Texture-wise, it’s classic Frappuccino: smooth, blended, and easy to sip, though not as indulgent as some of Starbucks’ other seasonal blends.

Tall is plenty. Since the pumpkin doesn’t really shine, going bigger feels unnecessary; you get the idea after a few sips.

Bottom Line:

This one isn’t for pumpkin diehards. It’s more for people who like the idea of pumpkin spice season but prefer the spice over the squash. If you want a cozy, spiced coffee vibe without a lot of pumpkin flavor, this Frappuccino hits the mark.

✨ If you’d like to try making your own version at home — one that actually doubles down on the pumpkin flavor — I’ll be dropping a recipe for it next week
