Review : Crumbl Pink Sugar Cookie

Ah, the infamous Pink Sugar. This is Crumbl’s most polarizing cookie, and it’s easy to see why. The cookie base itself is actually solid: buttery, soft, and reminiscent of a shortbread or sugar cookie hybrid. Where opinions split is the icing.

The frosting is undeniably sweet. It’s thick, sugary, and has that almost “icing from a tub” energy — which some people love, and some people can’t get past. It looks gorgeous, with its soft pastel pink swirl, and presentation-wise it’s Instagram-ready. But in flavor? The icing can dominate the cookie and push it into “too sweet” territory for some.

Texturally, though, it’s a winner. The cookie is sturdy but tender, the icing creamy and smooth. It’s not crumbly, it’s not messy, and it’s easy to eat. A reliable “grab-and-go” style cookie.

Would I personally go back for it? Probably not often. It’s the kind of cookie you eat when you want something nostalgic, not when you want flavor depth. But for kids, or anyone with a major sweet tooth, it scratches the itch.

👉 Love it or hate it, Pink Sugar is iconic. I’ll be sharing my own take on it next week — buttery base with just-sweet-enough frosting.
