Crumbl Benson Boon’s Moonbeam Ice Cream Cookie Review
Expectations were sky-high for this collaboration, and visually, it delivers: a thick chocolate cookie with a creamy white swirl of icing, soft and glossy like melted ice cream. But flavor-wise, it’s quieter than it should be.
The icing dominates; it’s smooth and sweet but lacks personality. The chocolate base tries to push through but ends up more background than backbone. You keep waiting for that punch of depth—some salt, some contrast—but it never lands.
Texture-wise, it’s fine: soft chew, pleasant mouthfeel, no dryness. It’s simply missing spark. The components don’t misfire; they just never truly meet. You’re left thinking how great it could be with a stronger chocolate or lighter topping.
It’s not a bad cookie—it’s just forgettable in a lineup that’s capable of much more.
