Copycat Crumbl Blue Monster ft. Chips Ahoy!

Bright, fun, and chaotic in the best way, this cookie is a nostalgia trip back to childhood treats. Mine tones down the sugar overload and amps up the cookie flavor with real vanilla and chocolate chunks instead of pure candy sweetness.

Ingredients

For the Cookie

¾ cup unsalted butter, softened

½ cup brown sugar

¼ cup granulated sugar

1 large egg

2 tsp vanilla extract

2 cups all-purpose flour

½ tsp baking soda

½ tsp salt

¾ cup mini chocolate chips

½ cup crushed Chips Ahoy! cookies

Blue gel food coloring (optional but fun)

For the Frosting

½ cup butter, softened

1½ cups powdered sugar

1 tsp vanilla

1 tbsp milk

Pinch of salt

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F. Line baking sheet with parchment paper.

Beat butter and sugars together until creamy. Add egg and vanilla, mixing until smooth.

Mix in dry ingredients, then fold in chocolate chips and crushed cookies. Add blue coloring if using.

Scoop dough (3 tbsp) and bake 11–12 minutes. Let cool fully.

Whip frosting ingredients until fluffy, then spread on cooled cookies.

Tips & Notes

A small dab of white frosting on top with crushed cookies gives the “monster” look.

To keep them soft, don’t overbake — remove as soon as edges turn golden.
