¼ tsp salt
2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
1 egg + 1 egg yolk
2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
Oil for frying
Chocolate buttercream
½ cup unsalted butter, softened
1 ¾ cups powdered sugar
¼ cup cocoa powder
2 tbsp heavy cream
Pinch of salt
Toppings
2 tbsp caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
¼ cup assorted mini candies (M&M’s, Twix bits, Reese’s Pieces, etc.)
🧁 Instructions

Make dough: Add sugar, salt, butter, eggs, and flour. Knead 8–10 min until smooth. Cover and rise 1 hour.
Shape: Roll to ½-inch thick; cut into rings. Rest 30 min.
Fry: Heat oil to 350°F; fry each side 30–45 sec until golden. Drain and cool slightly.
Buttercream: Beat butter + sugar + cocoa + cream + salt until fluffy.
Assemble: Spread a generous layer of buttercream on each ring. Drizzle caramel and sprinkle candies on top.
💡 Pro Tips
