Copycat Crumbl Strawberry Milk Cookie ft. Pirouline

The Strawberry Milk Cookie ft. Pirouline is a soft, pink nostalgia trip that tastes like the milk left at the bottom of a strawberry cereal bowl — creamy, comforting, and just sweet enough to make you smile. This copycat version gives you that same melt-in-your-mouth cookie with its signature pastel frosting and a crisp Pirouline wafer perched on top. It’s delicate, fun, and picture-perfect.

Ingredients

For the Cookie Base

¾ cup unsalted butter, softened

¾ cup granulated sugar

¼ cup light brown sugar

1 large egg

2 tsp vanilla extract

2 cups all-purpose flour

½ tsp baking soda

¼ tsp salt

2 tbsp strawberry instant pudding mix or freeze-dried strawberry powder (for real fruit flavor)

A few drops pink gel food coloring (optional)

For the Strawberry Frosting

½ cup unsalted butter, softened

2 cups powdered sugar

2 tbsp pureed fresh strawberries (or strawberry jam)

½ tsp vanilla extract

Pinch of salt

For Garnish

Pirouline wafer cookies (cut in half for the Crumbl look)

Optional: sprinkle of pink sugar crystals

Instructions

Cream Butter & Sugars — Beat butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy and pale, 2–3 minutes.

Add Wet Ingredients — Mix in the egg, vanilla, and strawberry pudding mix or powder until combined. Add coloring if desired.

Add Dry Ingredients — In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt. Add to the wet mixture and mix just until combined.

Bake — Scoop ¼-cup portions onto parchment-lined trays. Bake at 350 °F (177 °C) for 10–11 minutes. The cookies should stay pale with barely-golden edges. Cool completely.

Frosting Time — Beat butter until fluffy. Add powdered sugar, strawberry puree, vanilla, and salt. Beat until thick and smooth.

Decorate — Swirl the frosting on cooled cookies and top with a halved Pirouline wafer. Chill 10 minutes before serving for that glossy finish.

Pro Tips

Use freeze-dried strawberry powder instead of artificial flavor for a truer fruit taste.

Pipe frosting in a spiral with a large round tip to match Crumbl’s signature swirl.

For a milkier profile, add 1 tsp sweetened condensed milk to the frosting — it rounds out the sweetness beautifully.
