Crumbl Review: Dubai Chocolate Brownie Cookie

When Crumbl announced the Dubai Chocolate Brownie Cookie, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect — a name like that could go in a dozen directions. But honestly? It blew me away. This one deserves a moment of appreciation.

At first glance, it’s striking. Dark and glossy, it has that deep cocoa sheen that just looks luxurious. The top glistens slightly, almost like a lacquered chocolate truffle, with enough texture to hint that it’s rich inside but not dry. You can tell before even touching it that it’s going to be indulgent.

Then comes the first bite — dense, soft, and gooey in all the right ways. It’s everything a brownie cookie should be, but with a certain refinement that most brownie-based cookies miss. The cocoa has a high-quality, almost imported taste — less sugar, more flavor — and the balance of bitterness to sweetness is shockingly perfect. You get that fudgy melt in the center with the faint crispness of the outer edge, and it’s honestly addictive.

The flavor balance is the part that really impressed me. It manages to be bold and intense without overwhelming you. There’s a rich depth from the chocolate that feels more like dark chocolate ganache than typical cookie batter. You don’t need milk for this one, though it would pair beautifully with it.

Texture-wise, it’s smooth and almost molten in the middle, dense but not heavy. Every bite has this slight resistance from the outer shell before giving way to that perfectly soft interior — exactly what you want in a brownie-inspired cookie.

Would I get it again? Absolutely. This one sits firmly near the top of Crumbl’s best chocolate-based offerings. It’s everything you want from something named Dubai — rich, indulgent, luxurious, but still balanced enough to finish without feeling overwhelmed.
