Copycat Burger King Steakhouse Bacon Whopper (and Jr.)
Saucy, smoky, and over-the-top.
The Steakhouse Bacon Whopper is all about the sauce: creamy, garlicky, and just a little sharp. Pair that with smoky bacon, crispy onions, and flame-grilled beef, and it’s a messy, flavour-loaded burger. The Jr. is the same, just smaller and easier to handle.
Ingredients (makes 2 full burgers or 4 Jrs.)
- 2 Whopper-style beef patties (¼ lb each)
- 4 slices bacon, cooked crisp
- 2 slices cheddar
- ½ cup crispy onion strings
- Lettuce & tomato
- Burger buns
Steakhouse Sauce:
- ½ cup mayo
- 1 tbsp horseradish
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp Worcestershire
Instructions
- Grill patties, top with cheddar.
- Spread sauce on buns.
- Stack with bacon, onion strings, lettuce, tomato.
Velvet Fork Twist: Add a splash of pickle juice to the sauce — it sharpens it and balances the heaviness of bacon + beef.
