Copycat Crumbl Strawberry Heart Cake

Ingredients

Cake-Style Cookie Base

  • ½ cup butter (softened)
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp strawberry extract (optional but recommended)
  • 1 ½ cups flour
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt

Strawberry Frosting

  • ½ cup butter (softened)
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1–2 tbsp strawberry puree or jam
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1–2 tbsp milk

Instructions

1. Make dough

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

Add egg, vanilla, and strawberry extract.

Mix in flour, baking powder, and salt until soft dough forms.

2. Bake

Shape into slightly thicker cookies (or hearts if desired).

Bake at 350°F for 9–11 minutes.

Keep them soft and pale.

Cool completely.

3. Make frosting

Beat butter until smooth.

Add powdered sugar, strawberry puree, vanilla, and milk until creamy.

4. Frost

Spread frosting generously over cookies.

Tips

  • Don’t overbake — keeps that cake-like texture
  • Use real strawberry for better flavour
  • Chill frosting slightly if too soft
