Copycat Crumbl Yellow Sheet Cake
Ingredients
Cake Base
- ½ cup butter (softened)
- ¾ cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- ½ cup milk
Vanilla Buttercream
- ½ cup butter (softened)
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1–2 tbsp milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
1. Make batter
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla.
Mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
Alternate adding dry ingredients and milk until smooth.
2. Bake
Spread into a lined baking pan or form thick cookie rounds.
Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 12–15 minutes (or until set and lightly golden).
Cool completely.
3. Make frosting
Beat butter until smooth.
Add powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk until creamy.
4. Frost
Spread generously over cooled cake.
Tips
- Don’t overbake — keeps it soft and fluffy
- Let cake fully cool before frosting
- Add sprinkles if you want that classic look
