Copycat Dairy Queen Pumpkin Pie Blizzard

Thanksgiving dessert in ice cream form.

This Blizzard is literally pumpkin pie folded into vanilla soft-serve. The magic is in keeping the crust crunchy, not soggy.

Ingredients (2 smalls)

  • 2 cups vanilla ice cream
  • ½ cup milk
  • ½ cup canned pumpkin purée
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • ½ tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • ¼ cup crumbled graham crackers or pie crust
  • Whipped cream + nutmeg for topping

Instructions

  1. Blend ice cream, milk, pumpkin, sugar, and spice until thick.
  2. Fold in graham/pie crust chunks.
  3. Top with whipped cream + nutmeg.

Velvet Fork Twist: Toast the graham/pie crust pieces before folding them in — it makes them taste fresher and keeps the crunch.
