Copycat Dairy Queen Superman Blizzard
Despite the colour, this Blizzard is basically cake batter ice cream dressed up in blue. It’s fun, creamy, and kid-friendly, but flavour-wise it’s all about that cake batter base.
Ingredients (makes 2 smalls)
- 2 cups vanilla ice cream
- ½ cup milk
- ½ cup yellow cake mix
- Blue food colouring
- Whipped cream
Instructions
- Blend ice cream, milk, and cake mix until smooth.
- Tint blue.
- Pour into cups, top with whipped cream.
Velvet Fork Twist: Toast 2 tbsp dry cake mix in the oven before blending — it adds a deeper, baked-cake flavour that makes it taste less “from a box.”
