Copycat Recipe: Maple Butter Glazed Doughnut

Ingredients

Doughnut

  • 2 cups flour
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 tsp yeast
  • ¾ cup milk
  • 2 tbsp butter

Glaze

  • ½ cup icing sugar
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp butter

Instructions

1. Make dough

Mix ingredients and knead until smooth.

Let rise 1 hour.

2. Shape & fry

Shape into rings and fry until golden.

3. Make glaze

Mix icing sugar, maple syrup, and butter.

4. Coat

Dip warm doughnuts in glaze.

Tips

  • Don’t over-fry
  • Use real maple syrup
  • Coat while warm for best finish
