Copycat Recipe: Maple Butter Glazed Doughnut
Ingredients
Doughnut
- 2 cups flour
- ¼ cup sugar
- 1 tsp yeast
- ¾ cup milk
- 2 tbsp butter
Glaze
- ½ cup icing sugar
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tbsp butter
Instructions
1. Make dough
Mix ingredients and knead until smooth.
Let rise 1 hour.
2. Shape & fry
Shape into rings and fry until golden.
3. Make glaze
Mix icing sugar, maple syrup, and butter.
4. Coat
Dip warm doughnuts in glaze.
Tips
- Don’t over-fry
- Use real maple syrup
- Coat while warm for best finish
