Copycat Recipe: McDonald’s Pizza Pockets
Ingredients (makes 8 pockets)
- 1 package refrigerated pizza dough (or homemade)
- 1 cup pizza sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Optional: mini pepperoni or cooked sausage crumbles
Instructions
- Prep dough: Roll out pizza dough and cut into 8 squares.
- Fill pockets: Spoon sauce and cheese into the center of each square. Add pepperoni/sausage if using. Sprinkle lightly with Italian seasoning.
- Seal: Fold into triangles or rectangles and pinch edges with a fork to seal.
- Bake: Brush with olive oil and bake at 400°F (200°C) for 12–15 minutes until golden and crisp.
- Serve: Let cool slightly before eating (inside will be hot and gooey).
