Copycat Recipe: Starbucks Strawberries & Cream Cake Pop

Ingredients (makes ~8 cake pops)

  • 1 box strawberry cake mix (baked as directed, cooled)
  • ½ cup vanilla frosting
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips (or candy melts)
  • 2 tbsp freeze-dried strawberry powder (or finely crushed freeze-dried strawberries)
  • Lollipop sticks

Instructions

  1. Make the base: Crumble cooled strawberry cake into fine crumbs. Mix with frosting until dough-like.
  2. Shape: Roll into small balls and insert lollipop sticks. Freeze 20 minutes to firm up.
  3. Coat: Melt white chocolate. Stir in strawberry powder for color and flavor. Dip cake pops to coat fully.
  4. Set: Place upright in a foam block or upside down on parchment until hardened.

✨ Result: Moist strawberry cake inside, creamy coating outside, with a slightly artificial but fun strawberry sweetness — just like Starbucks.
