Copycat Recipe: Strawberry Cheesecake Filled Muffin
Ingredients
Muffin Base
- 1½ cups flour
- ½ cup sugar
- 1½ tsp baking powder
- ½ cup milk
- ⅓ cup oil
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla
Filling
- ½ cup cream cheese (softened)
- 2 tbsp sugar
- ½ tsp vanilla
- ½ cup strawberry jam
Instructions
1. Make filling
Mix cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
Keep strawberry jam separate.
2. Make batter
Mix dry ingredients in one bowl.
Mix wet ingredients in another.
Combine until just mixed.
3. Assemble
Fill muffin cups halfway with batter.
Add a spoon of cream cheese mixture + jam.
Top with more batter.
4. Bake
Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 18–22 minutes.
Tips
- Don’t overmix batter
- Keep filling centered so it doesn’t leak
- Use thicker jam for best result
- Let cool slightly before eating
