Copycat Tim Hortons Pumpkin Spice Iced Capp

Creamy, Spiced, and Refreshing

Tim Hortons’ Pumpkin Spice Iced Capp is a fall staple in Canada. This version captures the smooth frozen texture, balanced pumpkin spice flavour, and creamy finish — all without a special Capp machine.

Ingredients (makes 2 smalls)

  • 1 cup strong brewed coffee, chilled
  • ½ cup milk (2% for creaminess, but any works)
  • ¼ cup heavy cream
  • 3 tbsp pumpkin purée
  • 3 tbsp brown sugar (or to taste)
  • ½ tsp pumpkin pie spice (or ¼ tsp cinnamon + ⅛ tsp nutmeg + pinch of ginger & clove)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups ice

Optional topping:

  • Whipped cream + drizzle of pumpkin spice syrup or caramel

Instructions

  1. Make the pumpkin mix
    • In a small bowl, whisk together pumpkin purée, brown sugar, pumpkin spice, and vanilla.
  2. Blend
    • In a blender, add chilled coffee, milk, cream, ice, and pumpkin mix.
    • Blend until smooth and frosty, about 30–45 seconds.
  3. Serve
    • Pour into glasses, top with whipped cream, and drizzle with pumpkin spice syrup or caramel if desired.Tips & Velvet Fork Twist
    • Frozen texture trick: Use coffee ice cubes instead of plain ice if you want a stronger coffee taste without watering it down.
    • Sweetness control: Start with 2 tbsp sugar if you like less sweet, and bump up to 3–4 if you like it closer to Tim’s.
    • Make it “medium”: Double the recipe, but keep ice around 3 cups max or it’ll get too watery.
