Crumbl Review: Carrot Cake Cookie
This one is easily one of the more complete cookies in the lineup, and it shows pretty quickly.
Visually, it already looks different from the others. It’s softer, slightly textured, and usually topped with a noticeable layer of frosting. It actually resembles a slice of carrot cake more than a standard cookie.
The first bite is soft and slightly dense, but not heavy. It has that cake-like texture rather than a traditional cookie feel, which works really well for what it’s trying to be.
Flavour-wise, it’s balanced right away. You get the warm spices first — cinnamon, a bit of that classic carrot cake profile — and it doesn’t feel artificial or overly sweet.
The carrot itself isn’t strong in flavour, but it adds that slight natural sweetness and texture that makes it feel more authentic.
The frosting is what pulls everything together. It adds a creamy, slightly tangy element that gives it that real carrot cake finish instead of just being a spiced cookie.
This is one of the few cookies here that actually has contrast:
- spice vs sweetness
- soft cookie vs creamy frosting
It keeps it from feeling flat.
Texture:
- soft, cake-like base
- smooth frosting
- slight texture from mix-ins
It’s filling, but not overwhelming like the brownie cookie.
This one feels more balanced and intentional than most of the others.
Final Verdict:
Well-balanced, soft, and actually cake-like. One of the stronger, more complete cookies.
