Crumbl Review: Peanut Butter Cup Cookie (Reese’s)

This one is exactly what you expect it to be — and that’s both its strength and its weakness.

Right away, it leans hard into peanut butter. There’s no subtlety here, and honestly, there’s no attempt at it either. From the first bite, peanut butter is the dominant flavour, and everything else just kind of exists around it.

The cookie base itself is soft and slightly dense, which works well for holding that strong peanut butter flavour. It has that classic peanut butter cookie texture — smooth, slightly thick, and not crumbly. It doesn’t dry out your mouth, but it definitely sits heavier than a standard cookie.

Then you have the Reese’s elements, which should, in theory, add a nice chocolate contrast. But in reality, they don’t stand out as much as you’d expect. The peanut butter is so strong that it almost absorbs everything else, including the chocolate.

That’s really the main issue here — it’s not that the cookie is bad, it’s that it’s one-dimensional. If you love peanut butter, you’ll probably think this is amazing because it fully commits to that flavour. But if you’re looking for balance between peanut butter and chocolate, it’s just not there.

Texture-wise, it’s consistent throughout. Soft, slightly chewy, and easy to eat, but also very filling. This is definitely not a cookie you need more than a few bites of to understand.

Final Verdict:

A full peanut butter experience. Great if you love peanut butter, but it completely dominates everything else.
