Review : Crumbl Birthday Cake Cookie

The Birthday Cake cookie is exactly what you’d expect: a cake-like cookie with just enough icing to remind you of a slice of birthday cake. Unlike the Confetti, this one has a more balanced base. The cookie itself tastes like a cross between vanilla cake and a sugar cookie, with the icing adding a creamy layer on top.

The ratio here works well — enough icing to get sweetness in every bite, but not so much that it overwhelms. Texturally, it’s soft and chewy, with the icing adding that smooth contrast. It’s indulgent without being too heavy.

What makes this cookie shine is nostalgia. It’s not flashy, but it feels like a birthday celebration baked into a single cookie. You could bring a box of these to a party and nobody would complain.

Would I get it again? Yes. It’s not groundbreaking, but it delivers exactly what it promises, and sometimes that’s what you want.
