Review: Starbucks Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew
This one leans more into pumpkin pie filling than spice. At first sip, you get the strong cold brew bitterness with a creamy pumpkin topping that softens it. Once stirred, it balances out, but the coffee always stays the main event.
The pumpkin cream itself is smooth and lightly sweet — not overpowering — but it also means the pumpkin can get lost if you don’t drink from the top. The texture is silky, though, and it blends into the cold brew more naturally than the PSL foam does.
It’s not too heavy, not too sweet, and doesn’t scream dessert. Instead, it feels like a grown-up seasonal drink — fall flavour for someone who still wants their coffee to taste like coffee.
Bottom Line:
If you’re a cold brew fan, this is the best pumpkin drink on the Starbucks menu. Pumpkin-forward latte lovers might be underwhelmed, but for balance and drinkability, it’s a winner.
