Tim Hortons Thanksgiving Stack Sandwich Review
When I unwrapped the Thanksgiving Stack, the first thing that hit me was how good it looked—and smelled. It actually felt like a proper seasonal sandwich, layered neatly and giving off that comforting aroma that makes you think of a holiday dinner. I was excited going in, and for the most part, it delivered.
The turkey was definitely the highlight. You could tell it was real carved breast meat, not just deli slices. It wasn’t heavily seasoned, but it was moist and tender, which is a big win because turkey can so easily end up dry. The stuffing, on the other hand, was more of a supporting act. It was a little bland and leaned bread-heavy, but I’ll give it credit—it added moisture to the sandwich and helped balance the texture.
The cranberry was the part I was most worried about since I don’t usually like it. But Tim’s did this one right: it was just enough to cut through the heaviness of the turkey and stuffing without ever feeling overpowering. It added flavor without being “in your face cranberry,” and that’s exactly what it needed. The crispy onions were the surprise standout—super crunchy and the only real contrast in texture. They made every bite pop in a way the smoother ingredients couldn’t.
The potato bun was soft and fresh, with just enough structure to hold everything if you used both hands. I wouldn’t call it a one-handed sandwich—it leaned a little flimsy—but it never fell apart completely.
Altogether, the balance worked really well. It actually tasted like all the parts of Thanksgiving you’d expect, layered together into one bite. Portion-wise, it was filling, and while the price is on the higher side, I’ll give it to them: real turkey justifies it.
Would I get it again? Definitely. It’s not something I’d eat every week, but as a seasonal lunch, it nails the vibe. If you want a taste of Thanksgiving without the full dinner prep, this sandwich delivers.
