Copycat Dairy Queen Mocha Mudslide Blizzard
Ingredients
Ice Cream Base
- 2 cups vanilla ice cream (softened slightly)
Mocha Sauce
- 2 tbsp chocolate syrup
- 1 tbsp brewed coffee (strong) OR espresso
- 1 tsp cocoa powder
Mix-ins
- ½ cup brownie chunks or chocolate cake pieces
- ¼ cup chocolate chips or fudge chunks
Instructions
1. Make mocha sauce
In a small bowl, mix chocolate syrup, coffee, and cocoa powder until smooth.
2. Blend base
In a blender or mixing bowl, combine:
- softened ice cream
- mocha sauce
Blend or mix until fully combined but still thick.
3. Add mix-ins
Fold in brownie pieces and chocolate chunks.
Do not overmix — keep texture.
4. Serve
Spoon into a cup.
Serve immediately for thick Blizzard consistency.
Tips
- Use strong coffee so flavour comes through
- Don’t overblend or it’ll become too thin
- Brownie chunks make a big difference for texture
- Chill mixture slightly if it softens too much
