Crumbl Review: Dubai Chocolate Brownie Cookie
This one is clearly trying to be more of a dessert than a cookie, and right away you can tell that’s exactly what it is.
Visually, it’s dense and dark. It doesn’t have that typical cookie look — it leans much more toward a brownie. It looks heavy before you even pick it up, which already sets expectations.
The first bite confirms that immediately. It’s soft, but not in a light or airy way. It’s thick, fudgy, and almost underbaked in texture, which is exactly what you want if it’s going for a brownie-style cookie.
The chocolate is the entire focus here. It’s not overly sweet like a basic chocolate cookie — it’s deeper, smoother, and leans more into that rich dessert profile.
The “Dubai chocolate” part doesn’t come through as a specific flavour difference, but you do notice that it feels more elevated than a standard chocolate cookie. It’s more about the richness and finish than anything distinct.
There’s not a lot of contrast, though. It’s very consistent from start to finish. No crunch, no major texture change — just dense chocolate all the way through.
That’s where it becomes a bit much. It’s good, but it’s heavy. This is not something you casually eat an entire one of without noticing it.
Texture:
- dense, fudgy center
- slightly firmer outer layer
This is definitely a “split it or take your time” cookie.
Final Verdict:
Rich, dense, and very chocolate-forward. It delivers exactly what it promises, but it’s heavy and one-dimensional.
