Crumbl Review: Carrot Cake

This one is completely different from the rest of the lineup, and honestly, it’s a good shift.

Visually, it looks like an actual slice of cake rather than anything cookie-related. It’s softer, layered, and topped with a noticeable amount of frosting, which immediately sets expectations higher than the standard cookies.

The first bite is soft and moist, exactly what you want from carrot cake. It’s not dense or dry — it has that proper cake texture that holds together without feeling heavy.

Flavour-wise, this is one of the more balanced items Crumbl puts out.

You get the warm spice right away — cinnamon, a bit of that classic carrot cake profile — and it doesn’t taste artificial or overly sweet.

The carrot itself isn’t strong in flavour, but it adds that natural sweetness and slight texture that makes it feel more real.

The frosting is what brings everything together. It’s creamy, slightly tangy, and cuts through the sweetness of the cake without overpowering it.

That balance is what makes this stand out compared to most of the cookies.

Texture:

  • soft, moist cake base
  • smooth, rich frosting
  • slight texture from carrot

It’s still filling, but not in the same heavy way as the chocolate-based items.

This is one of the few items that actually feels like a complete dessert instead of just a sweet treat.

Final Verdict:

Soft, balanced, and properly executed. One of the strongest items because it actually delivers on both flavour and texture.
