Copycat Recipe: Strawberries & Cream Cookie
Ingredients
Cookie Base
- 1½ cups flour
- ½ cup butter
- ¾ cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla
- ½ tsp baking powder
Cream Topping
- ½ cup whipped cream or frosting
Strawberry Layer
- ½ cup strawberry jam or chopped strawberries
Instructions
1. Make dough
Cream butter and sugar.
Add egg and vanilla.
Mix in flour and baking powder.
2. Shape & bake
Form cookies and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10–12 minutes.
3. Add topping
Let cookies cool, then add cream and strawberry layer.
Tips
- Use real strawberries for better flavour
- Let cookies cool before topping
- Don’t overload topping
- Keep cream slightly thick
