Crumbl Review : Maple Cream Sandwich Cookie

This cookie screams “fall bakery” the moment you see it. Two thick cookies with a generous swirl of maple cream sandwiched between them — it looks cozy, sweet, and like something you’d get from a Canadian café in mid-October. And honestly? The flavour matches the vibe really well.

On first bite, the maple hits immediately — but in a soft way, not the artificial pancake-syrup kind. It’s warm, buttery maple, the type that feels like it belongs in a fall dessert. The cookie bases themselves are soft, dense, and have that brown sugar richness that pairs perfectly with maple. They’re chewy but still sturdy enough to hold all the filling.

The cream center is definitely the star here. It’s smooth and whipped, but still thick enough that you get a substantial bite of it every time. The maple flavour in the cream is bold but not sharp — more like maple candy melted into frosting. If you like maple anything, you’re absolutely going to love this.

Is it sweet? Yes — absolutely sweet. It’s one of the sweeter cookies Crumbl does, but not in a “hurt your teeth” way. More like a dessert you’d have with coffee because the flavours are rich and comforting.

The biggest surprise is that, despite being a sandwich cookie, it doesn’t feel heavy or overly dense. It has a surprisingly soft, melt-in-your-mouth quality that makes it easier to eat than it looks.

This is exactly the kind of cookie you expect Crumbl to offer in the fall, and they executed the flavour profile really well. I’d absolutely get this again, especially in cooler weather. It feels like fall in cookie form.
